DAY 1 CUIABÁ PANTANAL LOWLAND
Reception at the Cuiabá/ Várzea Grande Marechal Rondon Airport. 16:00h departure for Pantanal. Part of the way will be on paved road, crossing the Savanna region and farms/ranches. Short visit to the town of Poconé, and then get the Transpantaneira Park Road in a true photo-safari for 32 km, with enough stops for flora and fauna observation. Reception and accommodation at Araras Eco Lodge, a welcoming environment, that follows the most traditional Pantanal way. Dinner, overnight. (D)

DAY 2 PANTANAL LOWLANDS
The awakening follows the season's rhythm; breakfast is served at first sunlight. Exploring activities start with trekking, for observation and interpretation of the paths besides the Transpantaneira Park Road, through private embankments (dirt roads) and neighboring ranches. After lunch, horseback riding on the fields in a Pantanal fashion. Dinner followed by a night excursion with the goal of finding nocturnal animals that may be in the vicinities of the Transpantaneira Park Road. Overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 3 PANTANAL LOWLANDS
After breakfast, departure towards Rio Clarinho, where in canoes you will explore its margins, boarding forest and mangroves. With luck, you may find the giant river-otter that inhabit these waters. Have fun with the piranha and dogfish fishing, which will complement your barbecue at the camping site. By the end of the afternoon, return to the lodge where you will be able to enjoy the sunset from our White Egret Treetop Tower. Dinner, overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 4 PANTANAL LOWLANDS SAVANNA TABLELANDS
Right after breakfast, departure from the lodge heading towards Chapada dos Guimarães National Park. Upon arrival at the historic town of Chapada, lunch followed by a visit to a breathtaking sightseeing point at the very center of South America, where you'll have a vision range of more than 80 km over the Pantanal plain. After, you'll want to follow the National Park's border to watch the sunset at the Echo Wall, another amazing point for observing the landscape. Finally, accommodation at the Penhasco Lodge, dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 5 SAVANNA TABLELANDS AMAZON RAIN FOREST
Breakfast and departure to explore the Chapada dos Guimarães National Park, with trekking through wonderful paths, full of adventure and invigorating showers on its mineral water waterfalls that are part of the park's water circuit. Lunch at the Cachoeirinha Restaurant, where you'll be able to taste the typical dishes of this region. After lunch we'll leave towards the Amazon Forest. This is South America's divisor of waters. Arrival at the Jardim da Amazonia Lodge at dusk; dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 6 AMAZON RAIN FOREST
In canoes you will explore the Rio Claro River. Trekking through amazing paths, you'll go deep into the Savanna transition into the Amazon flora. Lunch and afternoon free by a mineral water swimming pool. Dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 7 AMAZON RAIN FOREST CUIABÁ
Morning is dedicated either to the fauna observation around the lodge or visit to the calcareous grottos in the region, depending on the season. Lunch, and after a brief rest, return to Cuiabá and accommodation at the Global Garden Hotel. Dinner not included. Enjoy the Cuiabá night (our guides will provide you all the relevant information). DAY 8 CUIABÁ - AIRPORT
Breakfast and departure to the airport at the proper time for your flight. (B, , )

POUSADA DO MUTUM

Location: By the Mutum River, near the Siá Mariana Bay, or accessed by dirt road through Mimoso, within the district of Barão de Melgaço.
Facilities: 8 chalets with two interconnected air-conditioned suites each, veranda, freezer, phone and
TV; restaurant for 80 persons; two swimming pools with adjoining bar; 10 motorboats for two persons; 2 motorboats for 12 persons; 2 motorboats for 6 persons.

Location: Porto Cercado Road, by the Cuiabá River.

PANTANAL CRUISE

The Chalanga Anaconda is a 3 deck river boat with 7 air-conditioned cabins with private facilites on the first deck, a solarium with BBQ place, bathroom, kitchen, air-conditioned restaurant with 3 ambiences - TV Lounge, Bar and Resturant on second deck and the third deck is a panoramic area with shower.
Communication is made by radio, telephone and mobile phone.

02 packages are offered. One from Thursdays to Mondays (05 days/04 nights) and another from Sundays to Fridays (06 days/05 nights). Day by day description as follows:

THURSDAYS TO MONDAYS

Thursday - Arrival in Cuiabá and transfer to the Mato Grosso Palace Hotel.
Friday - After breakfast, transfer through the Transpantaneira dust road to Porto Jofre. On the way, opportunity to observe the flora and the fantastic fauna of the Pantanal. Arrival at Porto Jofre and board to Chalanga. Lunch. Alligator sppoting during the sunset. Dinner at overnight.(B/L/D)
Saturday - Todya we will cruise along rivers and bays with a continious observation of the fauna and opportunity of sport fishing. (B/L/D)
Sunday - Visit to a native house, lunch and return to Cuiabá, to the Mato Grosso Palace for overnight (B/L)

SUNDAYS TO FRIDAYS

Sunday - Arrival in Cuiabá and transfer to the Mato Grosso Palace Hotel.

PANTANAL LOWLANDS AND SAVANNA TABLELAND

Pantanal (swampland and shallows, actually a vast alluvial plain) is a vast wetland area in the center of South America with approximately 140,000 square kilometers (50,000 sq. miles) in Brazil. It's a perfect ecological niche for a great number of birds, reptiles and other animals to the delight of wildlife watchers and photographers.

Savanna Tableland - Geologically as old as the Andes formation, the Chapada dos Guimarães Tableland with its average 760 m high, gives sources to all main rivers and waters that run into the Pantanal. Its waterfalls, creeks, rock formations covered with Cerrado (Savannah-like) vegetation and exotic wildlife, present this National Park with an unbeaten beauty.

DAY 2 CUIABÁ SAVANNA TABLELANDS
Breakfast and departure to Chapada dos Guimarães National Park, lunch at the Cachoeirinha Restaurant, where you'll be able to taste a delicious regional food in front of a wonderful waterfall, followed by further exploration of the Park, when you'll visit the Echo Wall and observe the sunset. DAY 3 CHAPADA DOS GUIMARÃES BARÃO DE MELGAÇO (Mutum River Lodge)
Breakfast and departure to visit the very center of South America were you will enjoy a marvelous view over the Pantanal plan. Later, further on the way, a stop at the Martinha Waterfall for a picnic lunch and an eventual shower. Then we'll proceed on our journey through the Chapada dos Guimarães Tableland up to the São Vicente Mountain Range, heading towards Barão de Melgaço's Pantanal. By the end of the day, check-in at the Mutum River Lodge. Diner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 4 BARÃO DE MELGAÇO
After breakfast, trekking in the surrounding forests. Lunch. Afternoon dedicated to motorboat trips and fishing. Enjoy sunset from the middle of the Chacororé Bay. Return for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 5 BARÃO DE MELGAÇO SAPÉ LODGE

After breakfast, motor boat trip to visit the Siá Mariana Bay. Go further down the Cuiabá River up to a nesting place, where from July to September you'll observe thousands of birds nesting. After lunch visit at AMEC. Trip further down river (50 minutes approximately) to Sapé Lodge. Check-in, diner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 6 SAPÉ LODGE /PORTO CERCADO/ TRANSPANTANEIRA / ARARAS ECO LODGE
Breakfast and departure to get the Transpantaneira Park Road with approximately 70 Km of photo-safari to reach Araras Eco Lodge. Check-in and lunch. Afternoon dedicated to trekking and visits to the treetop towers for fauna observation (12 and 25 meters high). Diner and overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 7 PANTANAL ARARAS ECO LODGE
The awakening follows the season's rhythm; breakfast is served at first sunlight. Exploring activities start with trekking, for observation and interpretation of the paths besides the Transpantaneira Park Road, through private embankments (dirt roads) and neighboring ranches. After lunch, horseback riding on the fields in a Pantanal fashion at the Ronco do Bugio private reserve. Diner, overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 8 ARARAS ECO LODGE CUIABÁ/VÁRZEA GRANDE AIRPORT
