Day 1: Arrival in Salvador
Arrival, reception at the airport and transfer to selected hotel.

Day 2: Salvador
Breakfast is served at the hotel. The lower city tour takes us to the quiet waters of the Itapagipe Peninsula where the first holiday residences were built. Now, a peaceful family district, life moves at a slower pace than the bustling upper city. Fishermen fish from dug out canoes, locals collect shellfish at low tide, schooners are at anchor, all protected by the famous Bonfim church, one of the most important churches of pilgrimage in Brazil. We continue to Monserrat district with its panoramic view of the city and ending at Mercado Modelo, a thriving market for local artifacts.
Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3-5: Salvador
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Time at leisure for personal sightseeing and/ or shopping.

Day 6: Salvador - departure
Breakfast is served at the hotel.

& CARNIVAL PACKAGES MARCH 1-5, 2003 / RIO DE JANEIRO

Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
Arrival, reception at the airport and transfer to selected hotel.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Departure on a panoramic tour of Rio's main beaches, Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. It also includes a visit to the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain in the middle of Guanabara Bay. The cable car fee is included.
Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3-5: Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Free time at leisure to do some personal sightseeing and/ or shopping.

Day 6: Rio de Janeiro - Departure
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure flight home.
